From your first question to your next follow-up.

Use these steps to explore Clarity with a fictional or de-identified case.

Ask a clinical question.

  1. Open the chat workspace and enter a focused question. Include relevant clinical context without names, contact details, or other patient identifiers.
  2. Ask follow-up questions in the same conversation: compare options, explore a limitation, or request a clearer explanation.
  3. Open the cited references and relevant monographs. Check whether the source supports the answer and applies to the clinical context.

Try: “What should I consider when reviewing a patient’s medications alongside their supplements? Explain what information you would need before making recommendations.”

Review medications and supplements together.

  1. Open the Safety Checker and add the medications and supplements you want to review.
  2. Read the reported interactions, severity, and available supporting information. Consider the patient’s full history and other prescribing resources.
  3. Use the findings to guide further review before changing a recommendation. No reported interaction does not establish that a combination is safe.

Build a plan you can explain.

  1. Open Protocol Copilot and supply a de-identified case, relevant context, and the goals of the plan.
  2. Review the draft recommendations, evidence, and safety considerations. Edit the content and selected treatments to reflect your clinical judgment.
  3. Preview the patient-facing instructions before sharing. Use the available export or email controls to prepare the plan for your patient; confirm the recipient before sending.
  4. Save the plan when your subscription includes saved protocols so you can return to it later.

Find out what happened after the visit.

  1. Open a plan and choose Check-in. Create the invitation, then email it or copy the patient’s link into your usual communication channel.
  2. The patient opens the link without a Clarity account. The check-in asks about how they feel, their treatment use, and changes or concerns. They can add a note or request a follow-up.
  3. Open Follow-ups to review the response alongside the linked plan. Decide whether to contact the patient, clarify instructions, or revisit the plan.

Each link expires after 30 days. Share it only with the intended recipient: anyone with the link can open that check-in. Link expiry is separate from how long the submitted response is retained.

Set expectations with patients about when you review responses. Check-ins are not monitored continuously and should not be used for urgent concerns.
